Math Review

In anticipation of our math assessment tomorrow, students did some review work in class today. One activity was a quick matching activity whereby we were renaming mixed numbers as improper and vice versa.

This Week in Our Class

All Subjects

During the last week and a half of the school year students will be participating in a variety of year end activities and completing projects in their units.

These include a writing assessment, typing the good copy of their endangered animal essay, completing their reading pamphlet for their novel, doing an acrostic poem, creating a 4th grade memory book, doing a math review task, learning about tessellations, spelling assessment, IPC Powerpoint presentations while learning about North American and world wide explorers, and more!

It's going to be a busy last few days as we wind down our school year.

Italian

In Grammatica gli studenti stanno ancora affrontando il “difficile Condizionale”, “il terribile Congiuntivo”, i modi Indefiniti (Infinito, Gerundio, Participio) e ripassano tutti gli argomenti svolti con vari esercizi di Analisi Grammaticale. La 4th grade purple ha svolto anche un’attività relativa alla fiaba di Oscar Wilde “Il Principe Felice” guardando un video e scrivendo una loro versione della storia, con protagonisti una statua della loro città e un uccellino di loro scelta. I loro lavori sono appesi al muro di fronte alla loro classe.
