Home Learning Plan 
4th Grade

Math

·       Math home learning will be send home on Mondays with the expectation that it will be done and returned by Friday.  

·        This home learning is a spiral review with students doing a variety of math tasks, some which will be based on current learning and others that will be a review of items previously taught or knowledge gleaned from the previous grade.  

·        Home learning will be completed in students' math home learning notebook.

Reading

·        Students are asked to read every night for 30 minutes.  Of this time, 20 minutes should be in English with the other 10 minutes in a language of choice.

·        Students will respond to their reading in a variety of ways - of which will be determined on Mondays for the week ahead.

·        Reading response activities are due Fridays.

Words Their Way

·        For our spelling program, Words Their Way, students will get new word sorts and activities on Mondays.  Definitions and activities need to be completed and handed in each Friday.

·        Students will complete all activities in their spelling notebooks.
